Scott Dalgleish

It's very special to be involved in such an exciting Community and Sports Centre where my love for sport, recreation and community development will drive positive opportunities for the local community.

So give me a buzz - even better, drop by - and let's chat about how The Lights can have a positive impact on your health and wellbeing.

Everyone is welcome at The Lights

The Lights welcomes everybody to the Centre and encourages the community to enquire about how they can benefit from the facility and its events.

As a fully inclusive community centre The Lights also has a number of amenities for people with disabilities. Read more about these on the Accessibility page.

Acknowledgement of Country

We would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of the land on which we stand, the Kaurna People of the Adelaide Plains. It is upon their ancestral lands that the Port Adelaide Enfield Council meets. It is also The Place of the Kardi, the Emu, whose story travels from the coast inland.

We pay respect to Elders past and present. We respect their spiritual beliefs and connections to land which are of continuing importance to the living Kaurna people of today. We further acknowledge the contributions and important role that Aboriginal people continue to play within our shared community.
